Tonight, my heart finally understood that you were never meant to be mine.

I suppose it was something that I always knew, yet couldn't accept.

It never is easy not getting what you want, what your heart so yearns and desires.

And so I pull myself together, swallow the hard truth and shut my heart tight.

And I killed all the feelings that's left inside. 

Where there were once seeds of you and me.

But now, no more, and I am free..
